Highly recommended, very impressed with the whole dinning experience. The service of the staff from the moment you step in the restaurant till the moment you leave was impressive to say the least. A big range found in the menu, this restaurant serves 顺德菜 and other Cantonese dishes. The food was tasty, the chef uses local fresh ingredients and one of my favourite dishes was the pork knuckle with chestnut, the meat was very tender and well braised with a delicious sauce. The service of the staff from the moment you step in the restaurant till the moment you leave was impressive to say the least. A big range found in the menu, this restaurant serves 顺德菜 and other Cantonese dishes.
The food was tasty, the chef uses local fresh ingredients and one of my favourite dishes was the pork knuckle with chestnut, the meat was very tender and well braised with a delicious sauce. Also recommend the 炸子鸡 and the braised garoupa fish belly.
Although, the food was good, the one thing I would critique would be the temperature of the food, a few dishes were simply not hot enough, this was immediately reflected back to the staff and this should not be a major problem in the future.
The setting of the restaurant was very unique but not luxury as you would expect in many restaurant in a Hong Kong hotels but nonetheless the view was gorgeous, an outdoor seating area overlooking the Victoria harbour.
The pricing is quite reasonable when compared to other hotel Chinese restaurants in Hong Kong.
Having tried many Chinese restaurants in Hong Kong hotels, I would say the Legacy House is easily my top 5 Chinese restaurants in Hong Kong hotels and I believe this restaurant will soon receive a Michelin star if they are consistent and keep up their standards.
