North Viet Pho is one of my most visited restaurants for a bowl of comforting pho. The Tai Kok Tsui branch is bright and spacious, and the manager always shows excellent attitude towards work. Was starving so I picked the scrumptious bowl with 3 kinds of beef toppings. Raw beef - not the fatty type but still smooth. Beef ball - bouncy texture, the meat juice bursted in my mouth! Beef brisket - surprisingly tender with gelatinous tendons. The beef broth was piping hot, clear with layered flavors.

Also tried lemongrass pork chop which was served with rice or noodles at your choice. Thick cut, not tenderized yet easy to chew. Slightly sweet marinade.
They offer a variety of sides to go with the meal. We picked belecan lettuce - good portion and savory, and lemon grass chicken wings - crispy, juicy and as flavorful as the pork chop.
Finished the meal with a glass of bold and strong Vietnamese coffee.
