The Old Man is located in a small alley along Aberdeen Street. It was like a chemistry lab mixing different ingredients that I have never imagined that would be added to a cocktail. The Old Man gave me the first cocktail that I could drink up, because they offered to tailor make one that suited my preference and mood at that moment .
Then I brought another frd to try the cocktail. It had not disappointed me. I chose a Crystal green cocktail from the menu after a detailed introduction by lady bar tender. It didn’t look like a normal cocktail and it didn’t taste normal. But I quite like my drink with a special aroma like lemongrass.
The Old Man is just a small bar with no more that 30 seats. I believed it’s designed to be an intimate place for you to chill with close friends, at the same time have a close look to the working table, to communicate with the staff. All the staff are nice and passionate about cocktails. It was always enjoyable to be there.
Of coz, because of the limited space, and the big extent of the word of mouth, it could sometimes be very crowded. Good luck to you. You can always pick a better time if you find it too crowded on a day.
