After work today, I joined cousin J and my aunt for lunch at Bistronomique. I have never visited before, and lately I have been obsessed with French food so I was excited. Environment & Hygiene:This place had a very simple layout, and I was amazed by the height of the ceiling. It was a comfy environment. Hygiene appeared to be okay. Service:Service was good. This place had a very simple layout, and I was amazed by the height of the ceiling. It was a comfy environment. Hygiene appeared to be okay.

Taste & Value:
I like going out for lunch because most places offer lunch sets, in which I get to try different items. Since I arrived a little after 2, the lamb and soup were sold out already. A lunch set was about $130, which included bread, appetizer, main, coffee/ tea and an optional dessert for $38 more.
The food on our table:
Bread This bread was soso. It was very hard and the butter tasted weird.
Salmon appetizer This was quite a big portion. It was refreshing and tasty. It had a nice sauce, which tasted like a 5 spice sauce at first. I was happy that there were some greens. However, I would have prefered less parsley.
Caesar Salad The presentation of this salad was very interesting. The romaine was not chopped up and the anchovy lied neatly on top. The bread crumbs were fresh, crunchy and tasty; and the bacon chunks were huge and tasted like Chinese sausages.
Daily Fish: Salmon This was my choice. The salmon was cooked perfectly with skin that was crispy. The whipped potatoes and sauce underneath were amazing! The sauce tasted very unique and blended right in with the fluffy potatoes and tasted perfect with the salmon and greens on top. It complimented everything on the dish! I was very happy with my choice!
Daily Meat: Pork This was my aunt's choice. The pork was very thick. It must have been hard to cook. This pork was lying on some greens and potatoes too. The pork was very juicy and wasn't tough at all. The sauce was nice.
Sirloin This was my cousin's choice. It was also served on a bed of potatoes and greens. She ordered it medium well, but was still quite red. Anyways, the steak was juicy and not bad as well.
Coffee All 3 of us got coffee. We all found it to be quite acidic. However, with the addition of sugar, it was okay.
Daily Dessert: Dark Chocolate Mousse We added $38 for this dessert to share. It wasn't too chocolaty and the mousse was very thick. The texture was more like ice cream. Not worth $38 in my opinion. Final Verdict:
The mains were good overall, and I really liked the sauce on the salmon, but everything else was just average.
