Didn’t recall how many times I have visited this place, it is just a place with good food and a good variety of whisky , include some japanese bottles & scotch. Not a fan of spirit? Black Truffle Arancini dipped in Smoked Paprika Aioli is a very interesting dish, didn’t know it is stuffed in rice until I had my first bite, it was a really creamy bite. Dip it in the sauce will make it richer in texture, for me , just having these rice ball is good enough, although I am a huge fan of Paprika.

This is a british style restaurant and bar, so no doubt we would order some scotch egg as well, it is my must eat dish and it is done nicely, difficult to explain how good it is, come try it out yourself then you will know.

Soldiers & egg is one of their signature in this place, slow cooked duck egg with sea urchin, spring onion to dip in the toastie. The dip is very rich and creamy, mixing it with sea urchin, definitely made it a good bundle with alcoholic beverage. I can never have enough of it.

US Roasted Beef Grilled Sandwich with truffle mustard mayonnaise, caramelized onions, sharp cheddar, tomato and Truffle Fat chips was our main dish! The beef was juciy and tender, with the sweet caramelized onion , cheese and truffle mustard mayo, not just giving out a complex texture, it has a very strong and unique aroma when the staff brought this dish to our dining table, I was indeed really fully, but I couldn’t help finishing up my piece of sandwich. I am loving it.

The chips? I never like dat cuts, except truffle fries. Stockton top it up with truffle and cheese, I was full enough, but I still had a couple of them.

Before we move to the sweet treats, we had Fried Artichokes with Spring Onion and Mint Aioli. It is just an awesome vegetarian option, first of all I didn’t think it is vegeterian, it is not oily and goes so well with the mint aioli make it kinda refreshing.

Desserts were recommended by my friend Ms C. We had their signature sticky toffee pudding and our flourless chocolate cake!

The sticky toffee pudding, was very soft and moist sponge filled with the finger licking thick toffee sauce, topped with a scope of ice cream, even if you are telling me the whole piece are all fat, I would still consume the whole thing, I felt like I was in heaven!

Thinking the sticky toffee pudding is way too good? After my first bite of the flourless chocolate cake I realize that there is something which taste as good as my favorite sticky toffee pudding. Optimum sweetness, soft with a smooth texture, doesn’t taste like a cake more a soft creamy pudding, the sweetness of this dessert came from the cream. The best thing about this dessert is , you wont feel you have eaten a lot even though you finish the whole thing, that made us less guilty of having this lovely yummy sweet treat.

It was a really satisfying dinner, and of course like I said I love the alcoholic drinks here. The first few times I went to this place I had cocktails and this was the very first time I had whisky. Liking the food, atmosphere and drinks, I couldn’t find any reason of not coming back again.
