A couple Friday nights ago, I was out in Causeway Bay already, so I called my brother to see if he'd want to have dinner in Causeway Bay before heading home from work.  I was being a little indecisive about where to have dinner, so we started looking for a table around 7:45, and of course, the lines were crazy.
We tried to go to Jamie's Italian first, which was closed for a private event that night, then we went to a Japanese restaurant where the line was ridiculously long.  So, while we were waiting at the Japanese place, I remembered that Silverthoughts wrote a review on a new pizza place that I wanted to check out!
So, I called Mother of Pizzas and asked them if they have a seating area, and whether there were seats available as well, and they told me the seating area is half full, so my brother and I decided to walk over to the pizza place!

We got to Mother of Pizzas and saw that the pizza prep area and oven are in the front, so customers can easily order take-away from the front counter, and there is a seating area in the back along with another kitchen that prepares the salads and pastas.

My brother and I decided to each order a slice of pizza (and add $5 for a soda), and we'd split a salad and a pasta.  My brother saw that they have garlic cheese bread, so he had to order that as well!
After we placed our order, they gave us a number sign to bring to the table for the salad and pasta, and they told us to come back to the pizza area for the pizza slices and garlic bread.

Caesar Salad: The romaine lettuce was fresh and crunchy, and there was a good amount of croutons.  The Caesar dressing tasted pretty good as well.  My brother said he'd prefer a little more parmesan cheese though.

Garlic Cheese Bread: There was a bit too much garlic in the garlic bread, and the garlic was too raw for us!  The sauce was cold, and we asked them why don't they heat up the sauce, and they said that the sauce would go bad if it wasn't refrigerated.

Carbonara Capicola: The spaghetti was al dente, and the sauce was silky and flavorful!  The pasta dish was delicious!

Pepperoni Pizza: Mother of Pizzas says their pizzas are Neapolitan-inspired, which was definitely the case here!  The pizza had a thin crispy crust, which fit the Neapolitan description!  The size of the pizza pie, and the way they serve the pizza by the slice was very similar to our neighborhood pizza place back in New Jersey!  This slice of pizza was absolutely delectable!  It had a good amount of cheese, and the pepperoni slices were evenly spread on the slice so that there's pepperoni in every bite!  This pizza was so good that my brother ordered another slice right after he polished off his first slice!
For a pizza joint, the service was pretty good as well!  The server actually came by to check up on us to see how everything was!  That was completely unexpected, especially in Hong Kong!  It shows that they care about how the customers feel about the food!
Other than the garlic bread, everything was delicious at Mother of Pizzas!  My brother and I decided to order another couple of slices to take home to mom that night, and we agreed that we'd come back again for sure!
