I had late lunch today. Love to have desserts for lunch instead of rice or noodles. Was thinking if i should go to kowloon city for desserts but it took a distance of walking. Suddenly remembered that the hotel nearby should serve some desserts and went there to have a try. actually i tried their food three times at the restaurant on ground floor, one as lunch buffet, one as a la carte, one as dinner buffet. the impression was not bad.The cafe serves sandwiches, bread, pieces and whole cakes, co

The cafe serves sandwiches, bread, pieces and whole cakes, coffee and tea. Got both short tables and high tables.
I was attracted by the napolians! the size is big and look very contented!  Chose strawberries rather than mango because i love strawberries.

The surface is covered with almond slices. 4 layers of crusts! more than those from other bakeries.

I really loved the strawberry napolian as the sweetness is just right ( i dislike over sweet desserts), the layers were very crispy, the custard is tasty. The size equals to two normal pieces and i felt alright to have it as lunch. 

Then nightmare happened, after finished half piece, i found hair in the custard!!! the waitress was kind to change a mango napolian to me.

Mango one is as big as strawberry one. Lots of mango slices on it!However, when i cut it, it felt too soft like a sponge cake and collapsed easily, not as crispy as the strawberry one. But a fresh napolian cake should always be difficult to cut!!! 
within my worries, the mango napolian was very unfresh, the crispy layers were soaked with too much humidity.. and it didnt felt cold as from the fridge, but felt like left in room temperature for a long time.
The waitress explained that mango ones were baked earlier this morning (i doubted). She was very kind to change a strawberry one for me again. She even asked if i need some tea, very polite. 
So i tried the third napolian, and thought that it should be all right this time!!! however, when nearly finishing the whole cake, at the last bite, i found something hard, and split it out, and it was a small piece of plastic wrap!!!! oh my god, like endless nightmare...
i was surprised that i gave three chances and the quality still got problem!! 
there was no reason to change again.
the waitress and a waitor were very kind to refund it...
they apologized and said that the kitchen was out of electricity today and that may cause the problems (i doubted again )
Hope they reflected the importanec of hygiene to the chef..
It is not a Dai Pai Dong, but a hotel cafe...I hope they will improve and gain my confidence again..
