There have been a long love affair with Korean fried chicken among Hong Kongers. Introducing a new brand TwoTwo Chicken, it was apparently where KFC first started in Korea. They have multiple outlets across the country and now expand an international branch in Hong Kong, located at Tai Hang. The restaurant is a kind of stand up-and-eat style, offering six fried chicken options in different marinades. Original, spicy, sweet & sour, shallot, garlic, or teriyaki.

My personal favourites are the original fried chicken and fried chicken glazed in sweet & sour sauce. The chickens are batter-fried to golden brown, having a crispy and crunchy skin while the interior still stays tender but a bit dry on the side. The sweet and sour glaze is especially flavorful though.

There are also other non-chicken dishes including potato wedges, cold noodles and stir-fried rice cake, whilst providing a wide range of beers, cocktails, mocktails, soft drinks and juices.
