I was attracted by the ambience and decoration of the restaurant at the first sight. A spider-like chandelier, fish net and a column decorated with shells. The logo of a lively lobster seems welcoming everyone cheerfully. The restaurant was known to serve New Orleans dishes. No wonder their menu serves mostly seafood.A small oyster bar displayed the oysters available. There are humourous signs to go with them too, like "no diving" .....So I dived first to their signature dish~~Captain's Hot Sea

The restaurant was known to serve New Orleans dishes. No wonder their menu serves mostly seafood.
A small oyster bar displayed the oysters available. There are humourous signs to go with them too, like "no diving" ..... So I dived first to their signature dish~~Captain's Hot Seafood Bag. All seafood were cooked inside a bag with sauce. The whole bag was only opened when served. There were choices of seafood and four kinds of sauces on the menu. One may choose from the combination of 3 to 8 seafoods. Every bag goes with potatoes, sausages and corn-on-the-cob cuts. They provide aprons, very functional scissors and scrappers for easy consumption.
I had the scallops, mussels and long leg crab legs with lemon butter sauce as a starter. I did not expect such a big volumn. Once the bag was opened, the aroma aroused the stomach to work.
The crab legs are meaty, delicious!!!
The mussels are small yet not tough to eat. In my experience, the smaller the mussel, the tastier.
The scallops are wonderful. I like them sooo much ~~ tender with texture.
Most important of all, the essence went to the sauce. It was not just plainly creamy but with a hint of spicy (not hot) which elevated the sauce to the next level.
The sauce enhanced the freshness and texture of the seafood.
Not to forget the potatoes, sausages and corn-on-the-cob, they absorbed all the flavour of the sauce which made them smooth and aromatic. The potatoes themselves were of high quality, soft and tasty. I like them all.
The main dish was the Grilled King Prawn Risotto.
The risotto was quite al dente. It was cooked with crabmeat in lobster sauce which made it excited to taste. This normal size (7 oz) was large. There was also 14-oz one. The king prawn sat on the risotto was so big that it really got the image of a KING. The shell was very crispy. However, persoally, I would like it to be less cooked. I also liked the garnish by rosemary ~~ aromatic and nice looking.
Sweet time ~~~ Pineapple crumble.
I have taken Apple Crumble before but never a Pineapple one.
The crumble was nested inside a small casserole with lid on. It was made to order, thus, it was really very very hot.
It was a great surprise to me that the whole casserole was stuck with real pineapple chunks generously. Wow! Not expecting so much pineapples.
The crumble powder (may I say it) was not over-sweetened and it still kept some moist so one would not feel like eating sands.
I did not feel stuffed even after such full meal. The pineapple may have contributed to its disgestive function. Peach on the Beach
The drink was a good choice to go with the meal. The mint leaves, lime wedge, peach and ginger ale in the drink worked miracle.
The freshness came from the combination of the fruit and herb. The lime and the mint leaves taste was overwhelming, yet the mild flovour of peach and ginger ale complimented each others well. The overall portion of the dishes was large ~~ very satisfying!!!
题外话/补充资料:
They have reminders telling customers that consumption of raw meat may increase the risk of foodborn illness and their food may contain eggs, soybeans, nuts, etc. It is a very thoughtful warning which shows they care about customers with allergy to these food.
