Just around 2 months ago, I walked pass Star Street & saw this store was renovating.“Gelato”, “pasticceria”, “caffè” – 3 words to describe this place. A new addition on this gourmet street! I know I will pay them a visit when it’s open.One day when I finished my lunch in Wan Chai, I still have some room for dessert. They even offer this colorful baby ciffon cakes!! so cute!!!However, I’m there for a reason!!!! Gelato is another highlight of this new store beside those colorful patisseries & cakes.
They offered 5 flavours of gelato when I was there. Anyone can have a taste before purchase the gelato, just like Ben & Jerry!! LOVE!!! <3I tried out the lavender, 83% chocolate & pistachio. I found the lavender flavor really weird, don’t really like it.
So I just went ahead to get the other 2 flavors. The staff said 83% chocolate & pistachio are actually the 2 most popular flavors.
I’m a bit of both chocolate & pistachio freak! Both gelato are pretty intensive in flavor, especially the pistachio flavor is really stand out! According to the staff, the pistachio gelato is made from 100% real pistachio paste.Their gelato is really smooth, creamy & soft. The rich aftertaste was still remain on my palate for a while, which lingered some sweet memory in my head!
Recommend everyone to give 2/3 Dolci a try!! I’ll definitely go back & try out some of their other gelato & patisseries.
