Knowing that there is a restaurant known for their ambience and is semi-buffet style as well, I decided to bring my wife there for dinner tonight. My Day is located inside Mira Place One, few minutes walk from Tsim Sha Tsui MTR.For their dinner set, it comes with semi buffet bar, main course, desserts and drinks. This soup was boiled with chinese yam, wolfberries, wheik and chicken. It was very nourishing and clear, absorbing the essence of the ingredients.
Salad was fresh and crunchy, and mixed with sesame sauce it was appetizing.
Deep fried spring rolls and samosa was soft and crispy, baked oysters was juicy and flavourful, going well with the bacon. Baked scallops was creamy and cheesy, chewy as well.
Stone grilled USA short rib boneless steak - The waiter placed our food on a wooden base, before presenting us an empty stone grill which was very hot. He told us to cook our steak within 15 minutes. Short ribs was very tender and chewy, going well with the sauce provided. Potato was soft and smooth as well.
Stone grilled salmon fillet, clam and scallops - Salmon fillet was grilled till soft and smooth, fresh as well. Clam and scallop were chewy and flavourful.
Water melon was very juicy and sweet, and rock melon was crunchy and juicy as well.
Iced lemon tea was sweet and refreshing, ending it well after our main course.
