To celebrate the birthday dinner with my hubby on Friday nite, I chose La Pampa Argentinian Steak House from the credit card privileged list. It’s because it is the first Argentinian steak house in Hong Kong and with lots of good comments from Openrice. There is a classic Argentinian decoration, the staff were patient and serving with a nice smile. The manager was very friendly and entertaining. Under the cozy Argentinian ambience, we have enough time to read through the menu and finished the order.
As usual, they first served with a hot crispy bread, it is always a lovely match with the tasty butter and the creamy pumpkin soup. For the appetizer, ENTRADAS FRIAS MIXTA, there were three different cheese, the blue cheese 🧀 was gorgeous, it got a nice frangence of wine.
The beef sirloin steak was nicely cook in medium rare, juicy and tender with beef flavour, it was served well with a crispy fries.
I am a fan of lamb. The lamb rack was also nicely grilled.
The caramel custard is ok.
The waitress was so nice, she served us a shot of alcoholic drink after I told her that I was craved on their cheese. The shot was sweet 🥃 in taste and was very good for marking the full stop for the superb dinner.
