Deciding on what to eat for dinner tonight, we walked past this restaurant and was not aware that they opened a new outlet in Cheung Sha Wan. We tried their food at Sham Shui Po previously and was positive. Their decor at Cheung Sha Wan was more modern and cafe-like, located at Un Chau Shopping Centre. They served noodle, all day breakfast, rice, curry, croissant, snacks and drinks etc. We ordered their special drinks since we only need to top up $10 if we ordered a meal. We ordered their special drinks since we only need to top up $10 if we ordered a meal. Guava sijichun oolong tea was clear and refreshing, with strong oolong taste. Black sugar milk tea with red bean was smooth and milky, with the red bean sweet and chewy.
Sour and spicy boneless chicken feet - Chicken feet was very chewy and juicy, absorbing the essence of the sauce, which was sour and spicy, very appetizing.
Mala shredded chicken croissant - This was the first time I tried croissant with shredded chicken as the filling in it and was quite interesting. Croissant was toasted till soft and crispy, going well with the chicken, which was juicy and spicy.
Dry noodle with BBQ pork - This was one of their signature dishes, with their flat noodles very chewy and flavourful. BBQ pork used was of higher quality, half lean and fat, making it very juicy and chewy, sweet in taste. It came with black fungus as appetizer, which was crunchy and juicy.
HK style beef brisket curry rice - The chef was generous with the portion of curry, which covered the whole bowl. Rice was fragrant, going well with the rice provided. Curry was thick in texture and creamy, and beef brisket was tender and juicy, with sliced potatoes in it as well.
