We love trying out food at private kitchen especially with no corkage......we are a group of wine lovers as well. The restaurant is located inside an old commercial building and the deco is simple. When we ordered, the waiter kindly asked if we would like to try the oysters. We tried 4 different ones as suggested and they were nice and fresh.
The starters are very refreshing, mainly salad with either egg, prawn or salmon.
We all tried the bean soup and it was nice as well.
There are 4 choices of entree. We all tried different ones. The portion is just right and taste good. There are 6 different choices of main course. I chose Wagyu and Foie Gras, both are nicely cooked. One friend tried the Brasata 58% Dark Chocolate Pork with Tomato Cream Risotto, the course is nice but just something missing about the Chocolate sauce. We later discussed with the boss (we think he is) and he said they had tried different tastes for this sauce and came up with this one. We suggested them to add some chopped toasted nuts or cinnamon on the top to bring out the favour. The dessert was chocolate mousse, not too sweet as I like.
