Found this little restaurant @yauleibistro hidden in the basement of @pioneercentre It doesn’t only serve Hong Kong style food, but also pasta, burgers and udon. Most of the ingredients are imported from foreign countries, though they don’t set the price very high. There’s another option to pair chicken with rice but we didn’t want to have so much carbs so we decided to share half chicken together. The meat was smooth and flavourful. They already made it boneless so it’s really convenient to eat.
🥂Baked Beef Cheek Rice in Red Wine Sauce $62
There were at least six big slices of beef cheek in it and I liked the glutinous texture from the tendons of the beef cheek. Portion is huge that it might be too big for one lady to finish. The cheese on top was chewy and stringy.
🥂Chicken Soup with Fish Maw and Conch $28
If you only come here for soup, the price would be $48. The soup had an intense flavour, though only thin slices of fish maw were found, but couldn’t really argue much at this price.
The place is popular during lunch hour and there are many options to choose from. You need to order and pay first before getting a seat.
