Usually a big fan of Sheung Hing in Sheung Wan but decided to try something new on the other side of the city. Supposedly owned by affiliates/co-owners of 好酒好蔡, very famous across Hong Kong and Guangzhou so I made an effort to try it out despite the distance. A very casual/ghetto place. Steamed clams. Quite delicious. One of their signature dishes here. Another signature dish the goose head. I thought too much bones and not enough meat. Not my favorite. 猪油渣春菜煲, less greasy than I thought in fact

娃娃菜潮州鱼蛋, probably one of my favorite dish here tonight as well.
Mashed taro. Personally find it a bit too sweet.
Some 潮州抄手, okay, not great.
Personally I'd say that Sheung Hing offers more variety on their food and I personally like SH better. Although this was quite a decent dinning experience nevertheless I don't feel like there's something offered here that SH can't offer or can't top.
In conclusion the food is fairly good and the environment obviously is not too fancy. Price is not cheap for the location but I guess its still fair for the food we ate.
