I was recommended by my friend to try Indian Cuisine in this place. I heard Indian food is tasty but never tried it before. My friend and I went dinner at around 8pm in this restaurant. The environment was quite quiet and romantic. And we found that the customers were quite diversified in nationality.Since we had already read the menu in advance in their website and they have both English and Chinese menu (indicated with price), we ordered what we want smoothly. Since we had already read the menu in advance in their website and they have both English and Chinese menu (indicated with price), we ordered what we want smoothly. We had chicken Momo, Lamb sekuwa, Dal makhani with naan. And we chose Mango Lassi as our drink.
After our orders, the appetiser “crisp wafer” with two sauce came immediately. The taste of green colour sauce was a little bit spicy and match with the wafer. Chicken Momo is just like Chinese dumplings but with Nepalese style sauce. Fresh taste! Lamb sekuwa is Nepal style lamb cooked with Nepalese herbs & spices. It was sweet-smelling and pleasing to Hong Kong people’s taste. Dal makhani is a Nepalese style sauce eaten with plain naan. It was savoury and just my cup of tea. It was perfectly match with naan and the serving size was quite a big portion, so we ordered plain naan two times. Mango Lassi is a yoghurt-like drink. It was very thick and mango perfumed the whole glass of Lassi. In a nutshell, it was very much to my taste. Will try more Indian food next time.
