Weeks ago I came to Shum Tseng to play around and join yum cha lunch. My friend said it maybe the only one restaurant which can see sea view in Shum Tseng district. Surprised to know that it does not look like very general ordinary Chinese restaurant, but with nice & modern decoration and setting! Because of the environment and table setting, it's really a quality中国料理rather than general酒楼。I like the cool setting and happy to have window seats.We ordered 虾饺、鸡扎、叉烧肠、炸馒头 and funny that we can orde
We ordered 虾饺、鸡扎、叉烧肠、炸馒头 and funny that we can order a set lunch "Fried rice with seafood海胆" plus an iced lemon tea. It's flexible. 叉烧肠is very general, but 虾饺, 鸡扎tasted ok to fine! I love crispy 炸馒头 but I rather love more on the set lunch rice! The fried rice is big with many seafood ingredients, many shrimps … etc which is not cheating!
The restaurant seating is comfortable and relax though crowded with customers and so it's a bit noisy. Our table is at the window and facing to a very big outdoor balcony which we could go to out to watch the view. Even though we were sitting indoor there I could see the Tsing Ma bridges, other bridges and the lovely sea! Maybe the food is average or just above standard but according to nice environment, it made we enjoyed a fine lunch time there, that’s good!
