I chose to upgrade my breakfast set by adding $4 for this. The trays of freshly baked bread were too hard to resist. Indeed, the pineapple bun was really fresh with a crispy top, and an addictive sweetness. However, I’m one who likes the juxtaposition of cold, solid butter with warm, soft bread. Hence, the half melted butter was a let-down for me. It was also not thick enough to satisfy my fat craving. This is why I prefer places that serve the slice of butter separately, but I understand this would be too much to ask.

Slightly unpleasant as I detected a bit of sourness. Perhaps it was due to inferior coffee? Better stick to milk tea next time.
I actually find the Chinese breakfast items here to be better. The congee is well made, as are the 炸两. The sauce for the latter are also given in generous quantities when requested, and are unlike the super watery kinds one tends to find.
