I have always wanted to come to this restaurant for a long time yet didn’t get a chance. I told my hubby that if we were coming to Stanley for a stroll, then I have to try this place. I said that it seems like the food here looks quite ok according to the reviews. When we went in, staff led us to upstairs and we were sitting at a table in the corner. The table was not clean (sauce and crumbs on the table) and we had to ask the staff to wipe the table. My hubby ordered his favourite fish and chip
When we went in, staff led us to upstairs and we were sitting at a table in the corner. The table was not clean (sauce and crumbs on the table) and we had to ask the staff to wipe the table. My hubby ordered his favourite fish and chips and I ordered the chicken wrap (see photos below).
To be honest, the fish and chips might be better than next door as their batter is crispier, but the chicken wrap was only so so, I didn’t finish the wrap as it was too dry. One thing I hope that this restaurant will be able to improve is, staff told us that the dishes we ordered were “lunch specials” and we expected that it would include a drink with the meal, yet unfortunately it was not, you needed to order the drink separately. Unlike other restaurants next door, the drink are included in their lunch menu. This place, I might give it another go to try their seafood platter next time but I was just a little disappointed with their lunch...
