Chestnut & Purple Sweet Potato Mountain $65
From the photos, I had a lot of expectations for this dessert as I enjoy chestnut and sweet pototo desserts very much. As they brought this dessert out, it looked exactly like photos on the menu and tt was very artistically set out.
However the taste was a disappointment. The sweet potato and chestnut was too stodgy and powedery. It felt like I was eating a sweet potato dish rather than a dessert, even when I combined it with the vanilla ice cream, probably because the chestnut and sweet potato weren't sweet enough.
Bergamot Strawberry Delight $58
This dessert, also looked exactly like the photo shown on the menu. The dessert looked very classy. Taste wise, this was defintiely nicer than the first one. The taste was lighter and more refreshing, thanks to the lemon cream and strawberry mousse. It wasn't too sweet and had a nice tangy taste as well.
