We decided to check Tapa Room because of the seemingly great reviews. The service is good, the bartender/waiter was lively and joyful (refreshing to see it in HK!) and our dishes were served fairly quickly. I love Spanish tapas and was excited to try this place! They sprinkle many dishes with paprika; in my opinion this is lazy cooking. Definitely not worth the price nor the hype. If you know Western food, this will most likely fall short for you. I wish the restaurant and the staff luck in their business, but we won’t be going again, unless it’s for a quick drink.
