The Wagyu Beef Tartare ($148) was tasty but the presentation appears rushed and clumsy compared to photos posted by previous diners:
The Risotto Balls ($38) were nice and crispy but a bit too cheesy for me. My boyfriend enjoyed them very much though:
I appreciated their willingness to accommodate to our needs and preferences- such as my boyfriend’s walnut allergy, and my aversion to cheese. For my Pappardelle ($178), they kindly served the cheese foam and grated cheese on the side. For every dish we ordered, they made sure to double and triple check whether there was any walnut.
The Veal Schnitzel ($380) was a hefty portion but interestingly it was quite different from traditional schnitzels in that it was quite thick, almost like a tonkatsu:
We finished with tiramisu ($68) for dessert and a shot of homemade limoncello ($45). The tiramisu was great but the limoncello was so so. The bill came to around $1400, which was a bit expensive in my opinion.
Overall a good experience, but I wouldn’t go out my way to block my schedule 2 months in advance just to dine here.
