Arrived at around 6:10pm and got in about 20 minutes later. We ordered both versions of the deluxe ramen available: soy sauce based and salt based soup. Both ramen came with an egg, a few slices of char siu and a piece of bamboo shoot. The difference in taste between the soups was minimal. In fact, both were lackluster in terms of flavour. There was nothing to be remembered. The chef needs to work much harder on the stock which forms the base of the soup. Further, there was too much oil floating

The noodles were also very so-so - the kind that you can get in every other ramen stores in town.
Char siu did not have much seasoning. It was poached, not charred at all. Maybe that was on purpose, but certainly not to my liking. It is a bit too fatty as well.
Egg, again, nothing special. Not particularly flavourful, and the yolk not particularly runny.
Don't think I need to comment on the bamboo shoot as there was not much that you can expect.
Overall, there are much better choices, with lower price and shorter queue, available on Hong Kong Island. The closest one being in Quarry Bay.
Not worth to queue up for it. And definitely not worth to take a detour to visit it in Tai Hang. Other Japanese restaurants in the neighbourhood, which are not specialised in making ramen, may even do better.
题外话/补充资料:
There was no toilet in the shop.
