People who know me must be aware of my passion with Chaa Chen Tengs - touring around all the CCTs in Hong Kong has always been a mission I bear in my mind, and a dream I hope to achieve one day. Despite new, pseudo-old Bing Suuts keep opening in Hong Kong, I always prefer those with long establishing history. Hoover in Wanchai is among the many authentic 'OLD' CCTs on my list. And I was disappointed. Like seriously disappointed. It was just ordinary, plain corned beef with egg you can find in any CCTs in town. I didnt ask for a toasted sandwich but the bread wasnt that special either - perhaps a little more chewy than the rest, but THATS IT. It was nothing more special than anything else you get anywhere in town.I should come back again to try its toast and milk tea. Afterall, its not too fair giving a verdict just by trying out a sandwich - even if its the so-called 'signature' or 'must have' dish at the place.
