A new gelato shop has opened! And man was I ever excited! 3 Italiani is located in Causeway Bay in the new Tower 535 building. The building is right behind Sogo, next to WTC. The shop is pretty large with plenty of seating. They even have a ice cream cart. No idea why it's there other than for decoration. They also had Pepper, the Japanese robot that is found throughout Japan. They were setting him up when I was there. So, I wonder what his role will be.They have lots of gelato flavors. I think

They have lots of gelato flavors. I think they said 30! They had the usual flavors like strawberry and pistachio. But they had interesting ones like wasabi chocolate and Kinder Bueno.
They also sell chocolates.
And tiramisu!
They also have coffee and smoothies. Sundaes and waffles, too! One scoop of gelato costs $40. While a 2 flavors is $60 and 3 flavors is $70. Menu is in English only.
For their grand opening, they had a promotion to get one cup or cone and get the second one free. Promotion is by signing up at their Facebook page. So, boyfriend and I cashed in on it. After sampling pretty much EVERYTHING we finally decided on strawberry (on the right) and tiramisu (on the left). The gelato was smooth and creamy. It did melt quickly. But it did remind me of the gelato I had in Italy. The strawberry tasted fresh and and packed with strawberry flavor. The tiramisu had a strong coffee taste with a slight rum flavor in the back. There were bits of chocolate chunks found throughout.
In love with it, we returned a couple of days later to continue with the buy one get one free offer. This time we chose Kinder Bueno (on the left) and lemon (on the right). The staff told me the lemons are made from lemons from Sorrento, Italy. And man was it sharp! It was so sharp, I literally had tears in my eyes from the sourness. The Kinder Bueono was great. It tasted exactly like Kinder chocolate. And secret tip! You can ask for whipped cream on top!
Love this place! I can definitely see myself being a regular whenever I get off work!
