The service: When I arrived at the restaurant there is no one to greet me despite at least two of the wait staff standing idle at the service counter. Finally, I just went up to someone to ask for a table and got passed between different staff members who just kept saying I need a table until finally the supervisor took over and seated me. This is basically the story for the entire service here. When taking my order the waiter did not ask if I want any drinks (not even water) and did not ever visit my table again. I visited once alone and only ordered their "classic steak" for myself. In this instance my food was taking quite a while having already waited over 20 minutes. One of the waiters came to ask me why I was sitting there and if I was waiting for something. This was extremely strange because you would imagine he could simply check in their system if I had ordered anything rather than asking if I was a customer. I took this opportunity to ask for some water as no one had asked if I'd like a drink this whole time. All-in-all, the wait staff is extremely inattentive with the exception of the supervisor, and they leave room for tips on the receipt despite already having a 10% service charge with this level of service.


The food: The menu at this restaurant is a massive book you need to read through, fortunately the actual menu items are not as many as the menu implies, rather there is simply a lot of large pictures (as if you've never seen steak and fries before). Half of the menu are imported beers by the bottle which is quite attractive to look at but it seems like nothing other than draft beer is actually available whenever you visit.

I have visited this restaurant a few times (once with a large group sharing food) and have tried quite a few things on the menu. Overall, the steaks are OK. They are cooked acceptably to-order (I always request medium-rare) and the quality of beef is nothing special but certainly not bad either. Each time my steak was under-seasoned and needed a touch of salt but only just. The "frites" are definitely good but not good enough to be the sole motivator to visit this restaurant. Despite there being quite a few seafood items on the menu, they are worth avoiding. Most seafood dishes are loaded with cheese or cream sauce and the seafood itself has no remaining taste. Yet, they are priced like fresh pure seafood dishes. The pasta and risotto are also quite disappointing given you could visit a proper Italian restaurant for the same prices. I would stick to only the beef dishes if you are coming here, and only on their promotional nights (they do have many every week) as most items are overpriced.

To conclude: I would only come here for a normal dinner during promotional nights if you really love the combination of steak and fries. Of course there are better places you can go for steaks or fries but they do a decent combination here. It is also admittedly not a bad place to go with coworkers for a casual after work gathering. Do not expect to be impressed by the service.
