As the title said - it was just an okay meal. Day trip to Sai Kung and thought I'll give this place a try. It is more of a takeaway place than a dine in. Ordering the meal was fine as the lady gave us a menu with a more detailing information regarding the burgers and hotdogs. Went up to order and after I ordered, I askes for a receipt to check. Here it got a little annoying. The lady said if I want receipt I must l takeout and no sitting. If I'm sitting, I will not get a receipt...
I ask politely for the reason why I'm unable to get a receipt as I really don't see anything wrong with asking. She said a bunch things that made no sense and it really annoyed me. I said forget it - I'll just get on with life and waited for my meal.
The meal was okay. The cheesy chips are made nicely and crispy. The burger wasn't as good as I thought it would be. Just a bunch of veggies thrown in with no sauce to the burger. I mean in a tourist area and the price they are charging, I would expect something better than what I got. The hotdog was okay, spice was balance and actually enjoyable to eat. The chicken was the best out of the stuff we ordered. Shocking.
Overall, the place was nice and the sitting area was enjoyable. Service could really do with a work on. They favour tourist more than people who look and talk like a local which is pretty sad in Hong Kong. Food was okay to be fair. Price is as mentioned, tourist pricing. Expensive is to be expected, but on a side note, $12 for an extra slice of cheese for my burger... You joking right?
