Once a year, we would have birthday party for my dad here, 2 long tables against the window...Not because I like here, I like the Marriot Lobby Lounge much more, the atomosphere, the view... etc.Just, we have done it for so many times at this place and there are a lot of memories with friends and family. Still remember one time, we didn't expect that there would be fireworks outside, even the restaurant did not know about it. It was quite a surprise (good) for everybody. Then the atomosphere out
Not because I like here, I like the Marriot Lobby Lounge much more, the atomosphere, the view... etc.
Just, we have done it for so many times at this place and there are a lot of memories with friends and family. Still remember one time, we didn't expect that there would be fireworks outside, even the restaurant did not know about it. It was quite a surprise (good) for everybody. Then the atomosphere outside was good, the bar, blue in tone, right next to the swimming pool, then the grill was served outside too. It's a bit chilly outside/
We have shrimp, lobster (served in cold and baked, two kinds) it's only ok, not particularly fresh, oyster from France, but I didn't like it too much, tasted bitter (yuck). Then crab legs.
Other stuffs were ok, some Chinese dishes, BBQ, steamed fish, salad, sushi, sashimi wide varieties too. Salad, somked Salmon.
Then dessert, chocolate fountain, fruit, some of the guests like the Souffle a lot (I didn't take any). Nothing special for the ice-cream (Vanilla chocolate etc), apple crumble, Trimisu (so so), jello...
The grill inside was ok, pork and roast beef (I wanted something on the rare side unfortunately).
The grill outside was ok, lamb chop, the steaks served was really thin (I thought it was thicker last year).....
I think this place is ok, but I'd leave this place for parties -- with a group of people.
