Tucked away at the back in the shadows of the famous Tung Po Restaurant in the Java Road Cooked Food Centre above the wet market, is this little chicken pot dai pai dong. Very friendly and helpful staff including the manager Ivy who takes care of us (and all her guests) when we’re there. Must have dishes (before the chicken pot) include the frogs legs with cumin, chicken soft bone with fried garlic, spicy duck kidneys. Then the spicy chicken pot itself with pork intestines! Sooo good. Make sure you order the heung ling (fried bean curd skin) to dip inside the pot. They fry their own to order so it’s super fresh! Beer is always super cold and served in rice bowls. Good for big groups and gatherings but also good for a couple of people too
