One of the best dining experiences lately! The beef tartare was so good, they utilised the remaining parts of their Hereford dry age beef, combing avocado, citrus, and kristal caviar, creating such complex flavour… so memorable!
The 21 days aged Hereford beef was absolutely scrumptious, so tender and flavourful, and love the Smokey flavour from the girolle mushroom. The server told us this charcoal Smoke reminds the chef about a Saturday barbecue gathering 😂
Is quite interesting to know the stories behind every dishes as the server would told us about it whenever they were trying to introduce a dish to us.
The sourdough from bakehouse and the very Instagramable 5 seafood selection were pretty good too.
Everything was great but the cod was a little let down, it was not too tender as I expected, it was a bit too chewy for my liking.. and I personally not a fan of tomatoes, so I didn’t like the dried tomatoes that he recommended us to eat with the cod…
the highlight of this meal, this Caldoso rice was bombbbb, I’m not a fan of soup base dishes but I think this is my favourite from the menu, it was that good. The rice absorbed all the umami flavour from the soup, so delicious.
The dessert - kyoho grape, yogurt, sansho pepper meringue
I liked the The grape sorbet a lot as it was really refreshing, the meringue was a little too sweet though.
I only liked the matcha tart from the dessert selection..
the others were just ok..
And so nice of them, they prepared another dessert and a birthday card for my bday.. 💖
Overall, I think their desserts were relatively less impressive ..
but the beef tartare, dry aged beef and the rice really stood out and made the whole meal shine, totally gave me joys on my palate. Highly recommended this place, and definitely should go for the $988 set, I was so full and so satisfied after !
