Came to Affinity Kitchen as boyfriend said he heard the laksa was really good here. The menu is in English and Chinese. There is no 10% service charge. They offer sets that all include a drink. Boyfriend had the Spring Rolls, Clams, Tofu Pot with Rice in Laksa Soup ($56). The soup was very rich and flavorful. There were numerous little clams found along with lots of tofu puffs to soak up everything. The spring roll was served in the soup so it was soggy and became chewy.
I had the Onion, Beef Chuck, Egg Udon in Tomato Soup ($49). The tomato soup was very rich but bordered on the sugary side. The udon was a bit over cooked and fell apart too easily. The beef was very fat. It was ok but the laksa was better.
I noticed practically everyone ordered the laksa so that is obviously the thing to order. I can understand why. Though my order was ok I've had better tomato based soup noodles. But the laksa was much better.
