Met boyfriend in Tsuen Wan for lunch. Originally we planned somewhere else but we walked by this place and the smell of gyoza wafted through the air made us stop in our tracks.It's not a very fancy place. Just one of those where you share a table with strangers. The menu is all in Chinese. There is no English. There is no 10% service charge. Gyoza (5 for $15 or 2 for $7). These were ok. Not great. A bit too oily. The skin was a bit thick but the filling was tasty enough.
Fried Pork Chop with Vegetable Rice ($33). The rice was flavorless despite it being mixed with bok choy. The pork chop was super oily and the meat was also dry.
Udon with Preserved Vegatables ($18). This seemed to be their version of Block 18 doggy style noodles. It wasn't good at all. It was way too salty. The noodles were so soggy that it all clumped together.
Soybean Milk ($8). This was a bit too sweet and not much soybean taste.
Overall, not great. Food wasn't good and far too oily. The gyoza is the only thing that was alright so pushing this to an OK. Won't be back.
