Tired and just wanted to find something to eat, we came to Bafang Dumpling as it's been a long time we've eaten here. At least for me anyways. Bafang Dumpling serves gyoza and is originally from Hong Kong. They have various sets. Menu is in English and Chinese and there is no 10% service charge. It's basically fast food.Boyfriend ordered the Taiwanese style vermicelli set ($44). This included a bowl of vermicelli and eight gyoza. He chose plain pork and pork and chives. I chose the dumpling nood
Boyfriend ordered the Taiwanese style vermicelli set ($44). This included a bowl of vermicelli and eight gyoza. He chose plain pork and pork and chives. I chose the dumpling noodles set ($50) which comes with a bowl of noodles with five dumplings and five gyoza and a cup of soymilk. I chose pork and chives gyoza.
The gyoza were pretty good. The skin was thin and the amount of meat was juicy.
The vermicelli was ok. There were bits of intestine found in it along with pork balls.
I had the noodles and wow ... it was a bigger bowl that expected. The noodles weren't cooked all the way through so still starchy tasting. The dumpling skin was really thick but ok.
I guess if coming here, the only good item is the gyoza and dumplings. Everything else was not that great. But at least it's cheap and fast.
