Following our happy experience with this place not too long ago, we decided to visit this place again and we brought along more people this time to try their food. The Warsteiner beer was cool and refreshing - the perfect way to kick start the meal. For appetitzers we ordered the mushroom croquettes, which were very nice with cripsy coats and tender, juicy mushrooms inside, served with a tartare sauce; and the nicoise salad which was less far less impressive (ordinary canned tuna and olives wer

Following our happy experience with this place not too long ago, we decided to visit this place again and we brought along more people this time to try their food. The Warsteiner beer was cool and refreshing - the perfect way to kick start the meal. For appetitzers we ordered the mushroom croquettes, which were very nice with cripsy coats and tender, juicy mushrooms inside, served with a tartare sauce; and the nicoise salad which was less far less impressive (ordinary canned tuna and olives were used, which greatly compromised the taste of the dish). For mains we ordered the sausage platter , cheese raclette and roasted pig knuckle.The sausages and cheese were nicely done and tasted as good as last time.

However, the pig knuckle was a real let down, as it was way TOO SALTY (I mean, almost unfit for human consumption), and the meat was dry and the skin too hard, which suggested that it was probably overdone

Naturally, we did try to let the staff know the problem with the dish, but all she said was a casual remark that "that is the way it should be, since it is a salted pig knuckle".... ....

Another thing we wished to point out was the apparent deteriorating hygienic condition of the place, as tiny flies could be readily detected within the premise

It was really a pity as this would have been quite a nice and enjoyable meal except for the few issues mentioned above. We might still come back again to try the other stuff on the menu, but perhaps not in the near future.
