SFIZIO is located on Tak Shing Street- it is a 30 second walk from the Jordan MTR exit E, next to Cafe Revol. I have tried many Italian restaurants in Hong Kong and I believe that the head chef and owner at SFIZIO, Paolo, makes by far the best traditional Italian food. He is in the kitchen cooking every day making sure the quality is always outstanding. He can make both Northern and Southern Italian food which is very rare even among trained Italian chefs in Italy.
My favorite dish is the pasta puttanesca which is made with tomatoes, olive oil, olives, capers, and garlic. The flavor profile is very deep. It is savory and sweet, spicy and bold. His pasta puttanesca is so good I almost always get two orders. My favorite dessert is the Tiramisu which is light, but also creamy . The lady fingers are flavorful and moist and never overly soaked.
The atmosphere at SFIZIO is very warm and cozy + the staff are very inviting, friendly and accommodating. They treat everyone like family in a traditional Italian manner. It is a great place for families to eat, take a date or just grab a coffee.
I highly recommend taking a visit to all who love good, honest Italian food!
