Went there at around 7:15pm. There was a queue but the waiting was not too long (much faster than the 翡翠小笼包 right next to it. We queued for both restaurants and Pho24 gave us seats first). We were disappointed by the food and the price because of1) the lmited food choice Just about 30 entrees/soup noodles to choose from. (2) the unbearably small quantity of food given. We had two adults and two kids (5 and 7). We ordered 4 entrees (2 noodles and 2 rice) and 1 appertizer and we didn't have enough
We were disappointed by the food and the price because of:
(1) the lmited food choice Just about 30 entrees/soup noodles to choose from.
(2) the unbearably small quantity of food given. We had two adults and two kids (5 and 7). We ordered 4 entrees (2 noodles and 2 rice) and 1 appertizer and we didn't have enough food to fill the four tummies. My son didn't even like the food and didn't eat a lot.
(3) The unfried spring roll ("summer roll"?) appertizer dish had just TWO little spring rolls cut into four pathetically small portions and it costs $48!! My husband was so upset about this that he made a complaint to the manager and the manager noted that she received quite a few complaints about the small portion of the spring roll. She also remarked that the owner thought that the roll consists of fresh-made shrimp, etc and it should be worth it.... my husband couldn't agree. He angrily suggested that either reduce the price to half or double the quantity.
We spent over $300 on a dinner that my husband (who thought it's way overpriced or "undersized") and my son didn't enjoy. For myself, I think the quality was okay but its petit size made the whole dinner overpriced.
We won't go there to eat again.
BTW, I personally have a vietnamese origin (my father was a Vietnamese Chinese) and the food provided by Pho24 is not quite vietnamese according to my taste. It's not bad but it's definitely not authetic Vietnamese food. Sorry to pop the bubble.
