i was attracted by those "blue lights" couple days ago when iwas having dinner nearby, so on tue night i decided to go check it out. i ordered hoegaarden which is as usual (it's available at more and more places now)i also tasted their oyster platter (5 oysters, from different places) i figured out the south africa was surprisingly good! it's fresh and nice, the chef didnt "flush" it when he's opening it so the taste of sea water were still there. i also tasted their oyster platter (5 oysters, from different places) i figured out the south africa was surprisingly good! it's fresh and nice, the chef didnt "flush" it when he's opening it so the taste of sea water were still there. Strong after taste (of course it's not as strong as Belon, but for this price, i think it could be "BEST BUY" (6 for $168) after that, i encored on south africa oyster....
as for the hot dish, i didnt really gave it a try, so, couldnt comment...i ordered a snack dish though, something like baked potato....a bit overcooked but the potato was great! it's a special kind of potato....forgot the name...something like "baby potato"
anyway, if you like oyster, you have to go and try the South Africa one....it worths going!
