After work, I wanted a tea break so I went to L.D.K. by Ufufu Cafe as I've been curious to give it a try. Serving a variety of Japanese Western style dishes and various parfaits as well.Located in WTC Building, there was quite a number of diners inside. During afternoon tea time, they have an afternoon tea menu. Menu is in English, Japanese and Chinese. I was here for something sweet, so I ordered a parfait from their regular menu. This is a mix berry yogurt parfait ($78). The parfait was two scoops of ice cream (strawberry and vanilla) along with some frozen fruit (raspberry, blueberry and strawberries). There were some cookies, strawberry jelly and fresh cream. Underneath it all was yogurt. The fruit was frozen. I guess to keep them longer, they froze it but didn't have enough time to defrost so they were pretty icy. The ice cream was ok, smooth but not exceptionally creamy. The strawberry jelly was a nice touch. Overall, the parfait was ok. Not as bad as some places were it was a complete joke but I've had better. But those were actually in Japan. I would return again to try out the savory items as it seemed those looked pretty good and everyone seemed to be ordering the afternoon tea set menu.
