I would recommend Fullhouse Signature for a special occasion, but not for everyday dining. I purchased a Groupon ($288 dinner for 2). Overall the food was well presented but sometimes lacked flavour, the service was attentive and the atmosphere was romantic. The creamy mushroom soup, had bits of mushroom which was nice texturely, however it lacked seasoning, so it was slightly bland. Also there was one crouton on top, it would have been better with proper bread on the side.
My main was char-grilled rib-eye, which was cooked to my preference, pink on the inside.
The other main was pan-seared seabass fillet, the skin was golden and crispy, my boyfriend liked it, but I thought it needed more flavour.
The dessert was a mixed berry pavlova to share, it looked very pretty. I'm a bit picky about my pavlova, it didn't hit the spot, wasn't light enough and a tad too sweet. The berries were very fresh though.
What I really liked was the 'little rose' tea out of their winter drinks range, it was a mixture of juice, tea and fresh fruit. It was very refreshing, not overly sweet and I loved the slight rose scent. My boyfriend had 'fruitful winter', which I thought tasted like Gatorade! He also enjoyed his drink. We added $44 for the 2 drinks.
What initially attracted me to this restaurant was the deco and the food presentation, and it didn't disappoint! The deco was very sweet and fairytale-like, perfect place for a special occasion. Food was well presented, however, some dishes lack flavour. In conclusion, it was a bargain with the Groupon, but I don't think I'll return for the food if I had to pay full price.
