We were there for an early lunch on Saturday at 11am, right when the place opened. The service was friendly and efficient, and the food was good, even if the lunch menu appears a little limited. I had the curry seafood with rice, which was done to perfection. The seafood was cooked just right, not too overdone/rubbery, and the steaming curry sauce wrapped up the seafood and the rice into a loving, harmonious, hot plate of comfort and warmth. Perfect lunch entrée for a slightly chilly winter day!

The dessert I ordered—which was one of their signature dishes, I think—included a bowl of matcha green tea (sans sugar) and a bowl of white sticky rice dumplings and chestnut resting on top of a bed of red bean paste. The presentation was really clean and zen, and the taste was perfection: the sweetness and the slight grainy texture of the red bean paste working perfectly to offset the smooth, ricey taste of the dumplings, while the green tea offered a little caffeine-filled pick-me-up to cure one from the slight food coma that always follows a satisfying lunch.
The place has a great selection of cakes that I didn't have room for, but I can't wait to try the cakes during my next visit!
All in all, a delicious lunch and an impeccable dessert--love, love this place and will definitely come back.
