Tried the Vienna Afternoon tea at the Lounge and Bar with big expectations. For the $988 for two price tag, had big expectations for food and service. The top tier of savoury sandwiches was good, but nothing outstanding. A single tier of the 3 tier tea stand was dedicated for cookies. For the cost of the tea, they definitely should have been out of this world cookies, but unfortunately they were not. Service was very disappointing. Was told the buffet bar would finish at 4:30 and then had my plate collected immediately. Bill came straight after and a nudge for us to leave telling us they were setting up for the next buffet.
For what it was, it was extremely overpriced at $988 for two person during the Christmas/ New Year period. I wouldn't recommend this tea experience even at the original price.
