After I finished my appointment in North Point, it was already lunch time and i just walked around nearby to see if there is any nice food around. Finally i chanced upon this cart noodle shop named Car noodle's family. It was quite busy during lunch time, but the turnover was quite fast.The menu was simple and straight forward, 1 page listing all items available. Pineapple and lychee soda - It was sparkling cool and gassy, perfect for this hot weather. Lychee and pineapple were juicy and sweet.
Soy bean milk - It was supplied by the famous soy bean store from Sham shui po. It was silky smooth and sweet, with strong soy bean taste.
Thick noodles with combination - Noodles were smooth and chewy, the right texture. i request for medium spicy for the soup, and was quite tasty indeed. Deep fried pork chop was really crispy and juicy, chewy as well. Fish ball was chewy and smooth, chicken wings were soft and smooth, stuffed bean curd was soft and easily absorbing the soup. Lettuce were crunchy and fresh too.
