There were no pizzas when we came which I believe they could have told us before we were seated inside. On top of that, we chose a dessert but didn’t realize they took the menu before we ordered the add on $30 dessert lunch. Ordered Ribeye Steak medium rare. It was just the right cut and texture. The sauce and amount of salad spread out was just right to make it less gamey but also enjoy the texture of the meat as the cut wasn’t very thick so it absorbed the sauce given really well. The portion & quality was good value for money
BLACK TRUFFLE SPAGHETTI 🍝
The truffle wasn’t as strong as we expected it to be but it was okay as we had ordered steak which was already full of flavors. Texture of pasta was al dente, just not the strong aroma & taste of truffle, the kind of earthly punch if you want to have bolder flavor. SinceThere was a generous amount of arugula on top as well which I didn’t mind as I didn’t have salad on the side.
EGG WAFFLES FONDUE 🫕
We were craving for egg waffles & ordered this and dipping it on the fondue was definitely a unique experience experience! Was a bit skeptical how it would work as egg waffles alone has a rich smooth texture. Surprisingly, the custard was creamy so dipping the egg waffle pieces soaked up all the custard right away. As soon as the egg waffles got colder, it lost the crisps that gives it texture so highly suggest to dip it as soon as the dessert as served.
Overall, the food was okay and we spent about $600 for 2 lunch sets including the salad bar for one of them. The interesting variety in the menu made us intrigued and to come back & try.
