Pappabubble is quite unlike any other confectionery out there. The walls and shelves are lined with beautiful jars and bags of little goodies. These rustic looking candies are hand-crafted onsite and they come in whimsical colors and flavors. I sampled all kinds of flavors: sour watermelon, licorice, soda pop, pink grapefruit...etc. The drops and pebbles are of different consistencies. They taste rather generic but I do love the unique textures of them. A 180g jar is $128 and a 60g bag is $42-48
Glass panels showcase the long steel table that somewhat resembles Cold Stone's "ice cream kitchen lab." You can watch candy makers pull and twist caramel strands into hard candies and lollipops there. The whole candy making process takes more than 30 minutes, so its likely that you will end up purchasing pre-made candies. I got a medium size lollipop ($110) and a unicorn pop as gifts. I was told that custom-made lollipops (personalized flavors, words and designs) may cost up to $300.
The whole experience was fun but I am not crazy over these candies. However, I definitely can see myself ordering wedding / corporate gifts from here down the road.
