We wanted to have a cup of coffee and after paying $45, got a small, but up and down one.The iced coffee was the top choice on the menu here and after asking a few questions, we chose to have one each. When it came out, we were a little surprised that it was so small.Taking a sip, the initial mouthful was not too pleasant. It had a lovely undertone of winey sweetness, the kind you get from an Ethiopian coffee (perhaps a Harrar or Yergacheff), but the high notes were bitter and sharp. Somehow,

Somehow, as we drank it, the bitterness faded and was less noticeable. While not too bad (after a few sips), it was very pricey for its size.
I don't think there is much competition in Tai O unfortunately, so they really are your best bet. Be prepared to spend more for less.
