The selection of dishes was abundant – including cantonese, Szechuan, chiuchow dishes.
Our preferred dishes were:
Braised whole abalone with mushroom – abalone is well braised in oyster sauce, very soft yet chewy. Perfectly seasoned and very tender mushroom
Roast pigeon – sweet, juicy with crispy thin skin. It was an excellently prepared dish
Sweet and sour pork – it is one of the best sweet and sour pork I have tried. Delicious real chunks of pork flavored with pineapple-vinegar sauce
Barbeque pork - Barbecued Iberian pork with honey. Very sweet and tender.
Szechuan spicy prawn – firm and crunchy prawns that were huge! The hot and spicy crispy prawn was yum!
We also had sliced beef and fish in hot chili oil, crab and chicken soup with fish maw. The quality of the food here reflects on the price tag. We left with a full and satisfied stomach.
