Carnes is an Argentinian steak house at the ground floor of The Putman and we recently tried out their lunch set which include an appetizer, a main dish, a side dish and soft drinks. We started with the Beef Empanada, which was a delicious pastry filled with savory beef and spices. The crust was flaky and the filling was well seasoned.The Seafood Ceviche was a light and refreshing dish that was perfect for a summer evening. The Seafood Ceviche was a light and refreshing dish that was perfect for a summer evening. For the main courses, we had both the Skirt and Sirloin steaks. The Skirt steak was tender and full of flavor. The Sirloin steak was also great, juicy and flavorful, with a nice char on the outside.
