We wanted something filling, healthy (not drenched in grease or loaded with MSG), simple and time-efficient, and most of all, affordable. This place fulfilled every one of those criteria. The pre-made sushi and sashimi were on display so it was easy to pick what you want, rice options were written on the blackboard (my lucky bf had me to translate the items to him), but most of them were also on the bilingual menu. On to the food. The sushi (I think $48 for 8) and rolls ($30 for 4) were of decent size and tasted fresh enough (probably due to the high turnover). The rice was of unbeatable value - tasty fish and eel, moist and round pearls of rice, nicely flavoured, with a good amount of mixed vegetables on the side (though I wasn't a big fan of the cream sauce they used to go with the veg). The soup had some proper miso powder in it too, not just some MSG flavoured water. Overall excellent value for money. And free delivery over $150, next time I'll sit at home and wait.
