Bukan has become our regular place to eat Omakase. The set is cheaper than most Omakase restaurants - $1200 per head with over 20 items. Not only because it's worth the price, chef Takeshi imports a lot of fish that we've never heard of from Japan, e.g. Seki Isaki, Itoyoridai and Airame etc. In our last visit, the most surprising dish was Sanma. Not only because it's worth the price, chef Takeshi imports a lot of fish that we've never heard of from Japan, e.g. Seki Isaki, Itoyoridai and Airame etc. In our last visit, the most surprising dish was Sanma. There're only 10 seats in this restaurant so it's best to call and check if they have any seats. When it's full we need to sit really close with each other which could be a downside for big guys.
